Education

Is there a better education than the real world? These are adventures with the theme of learning, whether that be a new language, a new culture or just about anything.

In seventh grade, I had a teacher, Mr Montgomery, who changed my life in more ways than one. We exchanged addresses so that we could send each other postcards of our summer vacations.
Are you embarrassed that your are not very fluent. Or do locals automatically start speaking English? Daniel discusses 3 rules to carrying on a conversation in Spanish with locals.
For Ellen Boneparth, it happened at Delphi. She and a group of over twenty women were at the end of a two-and-a-half week journey across the ages, forming a circle together deep inside a cave that ancient Greeks had once used for goddess worship, praying to "Mother Earth."
An antarctic photo pictorial by our antarctic explorer, Vilmar, with interesting captions about life on McMurdo Station.
Vilmar's adventure in Antarctica is one of our first real-time adventures. Well, as real-time as it could get in the year 2000. Vilmar sent us regular updates from the road and we would relay his message to the world.
Dr. Lillian Larson: "I travel in order to enrich my life and the life of others. I feel that I can help bring remote parts of the world a little closer together."
