Jumping jacks on a frozen lake

Here’s another item to add to your bucket list. Walking on top of a frozen lake is a simple and fun adventure many people can do near their homes. It’s surprisingly scary to walk across the crunchy snow and an experience you won’t forget. For an extra thrill, I added a few jumping jacks. Kids, please be accompanied by an experienced adult. I’d also advise you to ask the locals if it is safe. In the picture above you can see a soft spot created by a spring in the lake. Also, in the background, though it is hard to see, are a lot of footprints and snowmobile tracks, so I knew it was safe. And, of course, the person taking the picture was watching me, ready to call for help.

I had to post a quick update about the most amazing thing I have ever seen. That's not hyperbole. I've traveled the world, seen the Great Pyramids, climbed more than halfway up Everest, seen a wild Bengal tiger, and so much more. But truly a total solar eclipse was the most amazing, mind-blowing, skin-tingling thing I've ever seen.
