Attractions, Restaurants and Bars
Liverpool is a beautiful city, and not one to be missed, whether you live there right now or you’re planning on visiting for a few days. There are countless attractions, restaurants and bars to explore throughout the city and the city centre. It’s an innovative and life-changing city that so many people are choosing to live in due to an increasing number of large companies having their business here, and more young professionals choosing to live in the northern city.
From the up-and-coming Baltic Triangle to the other countless activities and fun places to be, you won’t ever be bored in one of the best cities in the world. Here are some of the highlights.
World Museum
Are you looking for something to do with your family that is fun, yet educational? Taking a trip to the world museum towards the North of the city centre will give you hours of fun, and activities for the children to be getting on with. Plus, on every floor, there is something different for them to learn about. From the depths of ancient Egypt to fishes in the ocean and the universe, it’s possibly one of the best and cheapest days out the city has to offer. This is because it’s free for everyone: the museum only asks for a donation at the exit. We definitely recommend adding to their pot as such a huge project that is free in a city such as Liverpool is rare.
Baltic Triangle
For somewhere that’s more tailored to the adults, the Baltic Triangle has recently named ‘the coolest place to live’ by The Times. Not only this, but tourists are a huge part of this area of the cities economic boom, as it offers both locals and tourists the chance to taste and drink unique dishes and cocktails that simply aren’t available anywhere else. It’s ideal before hitting the town for a night out, or you may just want to go for a quiet few drinks on a weekday.
The Baltic Triangle has had vast regeneration over the last few years, and it’s now a top hotspot in Liverpool, especially for young people looking for somewhere to live. One development that is set to change the skyline of Liverpool, located in the Baltic Triangle, is One Baltic Square. Not only does it have an abundance of onsite facilities for potential tenants, but it sits right at the centre of all the Baltic action, perfect for those who want to operate out of this urban hub.
Pins Social Club
Here’s another late-night spot for you and your friends to enjoy. Pins Social Club boasts a range of activities for everyone, and while it’s not entirely child-friendly, there are plenty of things for you to do if you’re out for a drink or two. Bowling, ping pong tables, and pool are all available with this new and innovatively designed bar. There are plenty of yummy snacks to enjoy from the downstairs pizzeria and pasta place, too. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could even have a go on stage singing some karaoke. It’s definitely a place you can spend a few hours enjoying your cocktails and dancing the night away. Who could wish for anything else? Not us!
