Cycling Africa solo

Editor’s note: I always recommend people keep their stories short and sweet. Here is the shortest and sweetest so far. Congratulations on taking life into your own hands.

My story was a little unlikely. I lost both parents a few years ago which I never really got over. It led to a series of mishaps, I lost my way, lost the girl of my dreams, lost so many friends until I realized I needed to do something…instead of blaming life, I changed it. I’m now cycling solo across Africa and everything is falling back into place. I love life and have gotten to know someone again I thought was lost forever — me!
